At Hexon Data, I led the technical team and ran data-science experiments. Our work included the PJ City Bus app for Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya and solid-waste fleet tracking in Petaling Jaya and Penang.

The judgment I carry forward

A data system is only useful when its output helps someone make a decision. In this work, that meant connecting moving vehicles and route information with something concrete: when a passenger should expect a bus, or how an operator understands a fleet.

Outcome and scope

The software was used by two local governments during my tenure. This was an operating service, not simply a model experiment. I moved on in 2018.
